Shipping policy
Rain City Rae’s ships from Washington State. All products are carefully packed by hand, and processing times vary depending on the type of order placed.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package weight, destination, and the shipping method selected.
Orders of $99 or more ship free within the United States. The free shipping discount is applied automatically at checkout when eligible.
Shipping rates, carriers, and delivery estimates are subject to change at any time.
Order Processing Time
Ready-made retail orders ship within 3 business days.
Custom / made-to-order products, bulk quantities, and special requests may require additional time for packing, verification, and fulfillment.
Processing times do not include carrier transit time.
Wholesale Order Processing Time
Most wholesale orders ship within 7 business days, unless otherwise discussed or noted on the order invoice. Larger wholesale orders, preorder items, custom packaging requests, or high-volume restocks may require additional processing time.
Shipping costs for wholesale orders are calculated or charged according to the platform, invoice, or agreement used at the time of purchase.
Local Pickup
Free local pickup is available in Lakewood, Washington.
Purchases must be paid for in advance and the "Local Pick Up" shipping option must be selected during checkout. Buyers will receive a confirmation email when the order is ready for pickup and must schedule a pick up date and time. PLEASE WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION OF SCHEDULED PICKUP DATE/TIME.

Pickup is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by appointment only.
Orders not picked up within 7 days will be cancelled and refunded unless prior arrangements are made.
Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery dates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Rain City Rae’s is not responsible for carrier delays (e.g., weather, holidays, customs, mail forwarding).
Buyers may request expedited shipping or a specific carrier when available. Additional charges may apply.
Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, import taxes, or additional charges that may apply to international orders.
Rain City Rae’s is not responsible for delays caused by customs.
Heat-Sensitive Products
Some products, including candles and fragrance goods, may be sensitive to extreme heat.
Buyers are responsible for ensuring orders are shipped to a safe delivery location that will not be exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat.
Rain City Rae’s is not liable for products that melt, soften, or are affected by heat exposure during shipment. Candles may perspire but should not impact the overall quality or use of the product.
Delivered Packages
Items marked 'delivered' by carrier tracking are considered delivered.
Rain City Rae’s is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages after carrier-confirmed delivery. Any claims for missing packages should be directed to the shipping carrier.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct before purchase and that the delivery location is secure.
Returned or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to Rain City Rae’s due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or being marked undeliverable, the buyer is responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the package.
Returned packaged marked undeliverable will be subject to an additional shipping fee to resend the item(s) to the buyer and a 25% restocking fee.
Orders will not be re-shipped until any applicable fees are paid. If the buyer does not respond or pay the required fees within 7 days of notification, the original shipping cost and item cost will be forfeited.
